Theatre Design is a B.F.A. program at the University of Kansas. A Master of Fine Arts is also offered in Scenography. All entering first-year students enroll in the Foundations Program.
A total of 124 hours is required for the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, of which 75 hours must be completed in major program courses, 19 hours in general electives, and 30 hours in Liberal Arts and Sciences courses.
By the beginning of the junior year, the student must select one of the following areas of concentration wthin the major: scene design, costume design, or lighting design and production.
