What are the hours for the School of Fine Arts and its departments?
The School of Fine Arts and its departments are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Whom do I call to see if my ACT scores, SAT scores or high school transcripts have been received?
You can call the Office of Admissions and Scholarships at 785-864-3911 or 888-686-7323 (KS only). Students can also check the status of their admissions application online at www.admissions.ku.edu/status. Please keep in mind that it takes four to six weeks to process a complete application.
Whom decides how courses from other universities transfer to KU?
For College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) classes: The Office of Admissions and Scholarships has Credentials Evaluators who evaluate the work.
For Fine Arts Classes: The chair of each department typically makes this decision. On occasion, the Art, Design and Music and Dance Departments will make decisions. The decision may be based on actual portfolio work or an audition.

Are scholarships available?
The Art, Design and Music and Dance Departments all offer scholarships to students. Additionally, the University of Kansas and the Endowment Association award scholarships.
