School of the Arts Recognition Ceremony

Celebrate your Jayhawk journey with family and friends at the School of the Arts Recognition Ceremony help each spring during KU Commencement weekend.

Each May, the School of the Arts holds a recognition ceremony for its graduating students. Held in the Crafton-Preyer Theatre at Murphy Hall, this is your opportunity to hear your name called and walk across the stage in front of friends and family. This year's Recognition Ceremony will be Friday, May 10 at 6:30 pm. All Spring and Summer 2024 graduates and December 2023 graduates in Film & Media Studies, Theatre & Dance, and Visual Art are welcome to participate.
