2004: 58th Edition of Who’s Who in America, biography included as “graphic designer/design educator.

2004: 21th Edition of Who’s Who in the World, biography included as “graphic designer/design educator.

2003: Fulbright Scholar Program: Senior Scholar Award. Awarded a fellowship for the Spring/Summer of 2003 to lecture at the Fachhochschule, Trier, Germany.

2001-2003: 19th - 21st Edition of Who's Who in the World.

2001-2003: 54th - 58th Edition of Who's Who in America.

1998-2003: 26th - 31st Edition of Who's Who in the Midwest.

Student Awards

2003: Omni Awards, the annual design competition of the Kansas City Art Directors. In a special Topics class, seven students designed five posters for the Coterie Theatre, Kansas City, MO. The work gained professional recognition in the form of one Gold and three Bronze Omnis.

1996 - 2000: Print Magazine's International Student Cover Design Competition. Given as a class project, five Graphics III students have won respectively, 2nd and 3rd place and three honorable mentions.
