Willie Lenoir has studied the techniques of many of the best known modern dance choreographers in the United States, including Martha Graham, Jose Limon, Alvin Ailey, Alwin Nikolais, Bill Evans, and Katherine Dunham. His jazz experience includes the styles of Matt Mattox, Gus Giordano, Luigi, Bob Fosse, and Fred Benjamin. Most recently his choreography was performed at the 1996 Mid-States Dance Festival in Madison, WI, and at the 2003 American College Dance Festival in Iowa City, IA.
