Music Scholarships

The Department awards a number of undergraduate music scholarships. Scholarships range from small merit scholarships to full tuition. All scholarships are based on a competitive basis by audition, and are eligible for renewal each year for a total of four years provided that you are a full-time student making satisfactory progress on your music degree.
Music scholarships are awarded to students majoring in music, except athletic band scholarships. Late audition applications will be considered on a space available basis.
To be considered for a music scholarship, you must:

Music Scholarship students are required to:

  • Enroll in private lessons and receive at least a B (B+ for piano).
  • Enroll in at least one major performing ensemble or, for piano, participate as an accompanist in the Department of Music and Dance.
