KU Voice Professor Joyce Castle will record Jake Heggie's song cycle, "Statuesque" in San Francisco at Skywalker studios. The song was written for Miss Castle with a commission from the University of Kansas. The composer will be at the piano. The CD will be produced by Americus Records and distributed by Broadway Cares/Euity Fights AIDS as a fundraiser for Classical Action: Performing Arts Against AIDS.
