Student Advisory Board

The Student Advisory Board was created to foster ideas that could lead to the professional development of our students. These meetings have been the birthplace of such incentives as the Student Travel Fund and the Art Research Project Grant.

This group of talented students meets once a month while school is in session (excluding summer). During their two-year term members will read travel and grant proposals and will help identify those students worthy of funding. Aside from monthly meetings, board members can be sighted attending workshops on grant writing and volunteering at the School of the Arts Convocation Recognition Ceremony in May.

If you have questions regarding funding procedures for travel or grants or have an idea that you feel would benefit from being brought before the board, please see a board member from your department.
